# XRPL Testnet Playground > XRPL Testnet Playground is a free, browser-based playground at https://xrpl.work/ for testing XRP Ledger transactions with disposable Testnet wallets and no real XRP. The application signs transactions locally in the browser and connects directly to the public XRPL Testnet. A generated or imported Testnet seed can be remembered in browser localStorage until the user disconnects. Users should never enter a Mainnet seed or a wallet that holds value. The interface uses XRPL terminology: “trust line” is two words in prose, MPT means Multi-Purpose Token, and successful operations are described as validated only after a `tesSUCCESS` result from a validated ledger. ## Product - [XRPL Testnet Playground](https://xrpl.work/): Interactive playground for the capabilities listed below. - [Privacy policy](https://xrpl.work/privacy-policy.html): Browser storage, optional analytics, Sentry error monitoring, external services, and data handling. ## Tools - [Payments](https://xrpl.work/?tool=payments): Direct XRP, trust line token, and MPT payments. - [Trust line tokens](https://xrpl.work/?tool=trust-line-tokens): Issuer configuration and issued balances. - [Trust lines](https://xrpl.work/?tool=trust-lines): Holder limits, balances, and reset operations. - [Multi-Purpose Tokens](https://xrpl.work/?tool=multi-purpose-tokens): MPT issuance and holder controls. - [MPT authorization](https://xrpl.work/?tool=mpt-authorization): Holder opt-in and issuer approval relationships. - [NFTs](https://xrpl.work/?tool=nfts): NFT mint, destination offer transfer, acceptance, and burn operations. - [DEX order book](https://xrpl.work/?tool=dex-order-book): Public order books and signed limit offers. - [AMM pools](https://xrpl.work/?tool=amm-pools): Pool creation, liquidity, and trading-fee voting. - [Escrow](https://xrpl.work/?tool=escrow): Time-based XRP escrow operations. - [Code lab](https://xrpl.work/?tool=code-lab): Isolated XRPL.js examples. ## Supported workflows - View the latest 50 validated transactions for the connected Testnet account. - Generate and fund a disposable Testnet wallet, or import an existing funded Testnet seed. The seed is stored only in that browser until disconnect. - Configure an account to issue trust line tokens, issue balances with direct Payment transactions, create or reset trust lines, and inspect balances and limits. - Send direct XRP, trust line token, and MPT payments. The payment form does not perform pathfinding or currency conversion. - Create MPT issuances with asset scale 0–255, an optional explicit maximum amount, up to 1024 UTF-8 bytes of metadata, transfer fees from 0% to 50% in 0.001% units, and selected capability flags. - Opt a holder wallet into an MPT issuance, approve a holder when Require Auth is enabled, revoke a zero-balance unlocked holder opt-in, issue MPT units, lock balances, claw back units, inspect holders, and destroy an issuance with no outstanding units. - Mint NFTs, create zero-price destination sell offers, accept those offers, burn owned NFTs, and inspect NFT metadata fields. - Browse public XRP and trust line token order books without a wallet; create and cancel Testnet limit offers after connecting a wallet. - Create XRP or trust line token AMM pools, inspect pools and LP balances, add or remove liquidity, and vote on trading fees. - Create, finish, and cancel time-based XRP escrows using validated ledger close times. - Run XRPL.js examples in an isolated module worker that cannot access the page DOM, browser storage, or the connected wallet. Executed code can still make network requests. ## Deliberate limitations - Testnet only; no Mainnet network selector and no real-value transaction support. - Direct payments only; no pathfinding, partial payments, or currency conversion UI. - The DEX playground supports XRP and trust line token order books, not MPT order books. - The AMM creation form supports XRP and trust line token pairs. - The code worker is isolated from wallet credentials; code examples use generated disposable wallets where signing is required. - This is an independent developer tool and is not an official XRPL Foundation or Ripple product. ## Implementation - Client-side HTML, CSS, and JavaScript bundled with webpack. - `xrpl` JavaScript package version 5.3.0. - Direct WebSocket connection to `wss://s.altnet.rippletest.net:51233`. - Sentry Browser SDK for scrubbed error monitoring only; session replay, tracing, logs, and application metrics are disabled. - Optional Google Analytics remains disabled unless the user accepts the analytics consent prompt. ## Official XRPL references - [XRPL documentation](https://xrpl.org/docs/): Protocol concepts, transaction references, tutorials, and current amendment requirements. - [Trust Line Tokens](https://xrpl.org/docs/concepts/tokens/fungible-tokens/trust-line-tokens): Trust line terminology and behavior. - [Multi-Purpose Tokens](https://xrpl.org/docs/concepts/tokens/fungible-tokens/multi-purpose-tokens): MPT concepts and controls. - [XRPL.js documentation](https://js.xrpl.org/): JavaScript client library API.
